Larsen C shelf is breaking off in Antarctica. The 5,800 skm iceshelf is three times the size of Tenerife. This is one of the biggest ice bergs starting to drift on the oceans and contributing to sea level rise & other climate impacts.

Here are recommendations which all of us can do daily to mitigate our impact on the environment and climate:

Transport

Walk, cycle, electric transport vs. using a fossil fuel powered vehicle

Food

Grow, buy locally, non-treated food

Energy

Save energy, use locally produced renewable energy

See overview of NZ renewables & some future possibilities.

Pollution

Don’t pollute, reuse, recycle, clean up rubbish every time you see some

Educate

Upskill yourself, share with others, teach others; build better & healthier buildings
